STONERIDGE RESIDENT ASSOCIATION
Formed in 1990 under prior ownership and continued by ECC Retirement Village's purchase of StoneRidge, the Resident Association serves as an open line of communication among residents, and between residents and the Senior Leadership Team of the Village. Quarterly meetings are held and open to all StoneRidge independent living residents. Meetings are both structured, with set agenda items, and open forum to encourage resident participation in asking questions, airing concerns and communicating items or announcements of importance.
The Resident Association President, an elected position, as are all officers, is the official liaison and advocate for the residents regarding the resolution of any problems or issues voiced which require the involvement of the Village Leadership Team, and the Senior Director of Independent Living.
The association is governed by an Executive Committee comprised of the president, two vice presidents, treasurer, and secretary. The executive committee meets every month.
An important component of the Resident Association is the various sub-committees which are entirely comprised of dedicated and energetic residents. For example, the StoneRidge Gift Shop is managed and staffed solely by residents, with proceeds being used or saved toward dedicated uses which directly benefit all residents.

Reverend Charles Barner is the current Resident Association President.
