BENEVOLENT SUPPORT
The ECC Retirement Village Benevolent Care Fund (BCF) is founded on the goal of providing excellent care and housing to seniors in need, regardless of income or ability to pay. Now and in the coming years, our goal is to increase donations to the fund to the extent that contributed dollars are large enough to support the ministry in and of itself.
The BCF currently provides for those in need living in our Albright community on the residential and personal care floors. Residents receiving benefits from the fund have grown in number, and the need is ever-increasing.
As a new initiative to reach the ultimate goal, the Village has established a Benevolent Care Endowment Fund. Under this program donors will contribute for current year benevolent needs through the existing BFC, and also make a matching contribution to the Endowment Fund. For example, if a family makes an annual donation of $50 to the BFC, it would also be accompanied by a matching $50 donation to the Endowment Fund. All funds given are tax-deductible.
Please consider how you might assist the Village in providing care for seniors in need by contributing to our Benevolent Care Fund and Endowment Fund. You can play a direct role in helping the Village fulfill our mission and impact the lives of those who need assistance.
